Polk County Senior Orphan Donation

With a $2,000 Gratutude Grant  from the Grand Lodge, the Lakeland Elks Lodge utilized the money for the Polk County Senior Orphans. The Lodge furnished 22 bathtub chairs, five blood pressure monitors, toilet seat extensions and safety grab bars. Veterans Day Service

Our service on Veterans Day was also a success. Our speakers were City Commissioner Keith Merri, a Navy veteran, and Jack Collins, Elks District Chairman for Army of Hope. Pre-Veterans Day Picnic

On November 8th we had our pre-Veterans Day picnic. We served brats, dogs n burgers with sides. Twenty of our veterans ate for free and we also had a cake auction which raised $1,400 for our Veterans programs. It was a great day!
