The Lodge will be holding a Summer Master Cricket League on Thursday night.  It will start May 4 and the last week will be June 22. Please notice the times are different for the summer league.  The games will be played at 6:30, 7:15, and 8:00.  We will play 2 games of master cricket each match.  Games must be started on time and finished by the time the next match is ready to start.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! Play ready darts.

——How Master Cricket is played:

The object is to close out all the numbers 15 through 20 and the Bulls Eye before your opponent.  Closing out consists of hitting each number 3 times.  Hitting a double counts as 2, and hitting a triple is worth 3.  In Master Cricket, points can only be scored with a dart that closes out the number first (in other words, if you already hit 2 20’s, then you hit a triple 20, you will get the 40 points as long as your opponent hasn’t closed it already), or once you close ALL numbers and your opponent still has open numbers to score off of.  Once you close out a number you can not point off of it until you close out all the other numbers.  Cricket is a good game to improve your skill.
Hope to see everyone there.

Here is the first week schedule with the list of participants.  Please look at the schedule.  If your name is not on the schedule and you wanted to play, please let me know immediately.  Do not let Phil know.  Do not let Shannon know.  I need to know.  I only did the first week of the schedule so if someone is missing it will make it easier to fix.

We will also be keeping track of who can take out 3 numbers with 3 darts in the triple.  In order for them to count, the numbers have to be completely open.  Another words, you can not hit a number once on one turn, then hit the triple on the same number on the next turn.  You can not have any hits on the number.  Each time it occurs, it is worth 10 points.  If you can close out the 20, 19, & 18 on your first throw of a game, it will be worth 20 points.  There will be a place to keep track of them on the score sheet.  Each one needs to be verified by your opponent.
We do have plenty of room for any ladies still wanting to play.  Again, please let me know ASAP if you are not on the scheduled and wanted to play.  Thanks.
Johnny.
