MEMBERS HELP NEEDED
Once again Lakeland Lodge #1291 is using the Elks National Foundation’s Community Investments Program Spot Light Grant to provide necessities to Homeless Veterans who are exiting homelessness and being placed in permanent housing. To increase our support of local veterans, we are also asking our members to help by donating and filling a bag with some basic pantry staple items.Please see a bartender or Char for a lodge bag or fill any bag with the suggested items. Keep in mind that this is a guideline, please use your best judgement when purchasing items.

CLEANING ITEMS:
- Laundry detergent
- Fabric softener
- Dish soap or hand soap
- Toilet bowl cleaner
- Disinfecting wipes
- All-purpose cleaners
- Scrub brushes-sponges-cleaning clothes, etc.
PAPER PRODUCTS:
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Kleenex
- Foil-Plastic wrap-Ziploc bags-any size
PANTRY ITEMS: NON-PERISHABLE ONLY
- Salt-pepper-basic spices-sugar
- Coffee-cooking oil-canned food items
- Basic condiments-ketchup; mustard; mayo
Personal Care Items:
Remember these are individuals who are coming out of homelessness. They have nothing and are in need of basic items to get by.
